The Proposed bill will define an ileagal exhaust as any car that does not meet the current EPA standards. It make NO provision for after market exhasut components, nor does it allow for cars older than 15 years to be exempted. This bill is an attempt to ban all cars that use combusion engines in the Commonwealth. It was sent to the The Joint Committee on Public Safety and Homeland Security so it would fly under the radar. MAAC has seen it and is sounding the alarm!
